The Alaisiagae were Celtic/Germanic war goddesses similar to the Valkyries of the Norse. They were worshipped in the North of England with votives found at Housesteads on Hadrians Wall. This design is my own based on my research of them as very little is known of the Alaisiagae. To find out more, read my blog post.

This design is not exactly rectangular. It was hand drawn and no matter which way I print it, it always looks slightly not straight. I like it this way but it's perhaps not for everyone!
These prints are limited and signed for authenticity and comes with a descriptive note about the mythology of the design.
This linocut print is handprinted on beautiful white somerset satin paper, with Caligo safewash ink.
The Print is approximately 15cmx20cm and the paper size is approximately 28cm x 35cm.
