An Original Linocut Print of Achelois, an ancient Greek moon goddess.  
Hand printed by myself at my home studio in the Northeast of England, so everyone is slightly different and unique.
The process of a linocut print is quite lengthy. I digitally design most of my prints, these are then printed and transfered to a block for carving. Once carved the block is inked and printed to produce the final piece. Each edition is different but limited. This edition will be of 20 prints. Each print is editioned and signed for authenticity and comes with a descriptive note about the mythology of the design.
Printed on a variety of japanese and nepalese washi paper. The paper ranges from natural white or light brown. If when you like a particular paper colour, do send me a note and I will do my best to accomodate and send a photo of the one I am sending out.
Caligo Safewash Ink is an oil based ink which can be cleaned up without using toxic cleaners, its main ingredient is linseed oil which makes them environmentally friendly and easy to work with. Achelois is printed in a beautiful dark blue.
Your print will be carefully wrapped to ensure safe delivery. I am trying to make the move to using post-consumer packaging to be more eco-friendly.
UK orders are being posted by either the Royal Mail or Evri, depending on the size of the print, for orders over £15 this will be by tracked delivery.  For orders under £10 I use 2nd class post. International Delivery is most often with Royal Mail International Standard Delivery 
The Print is 15cmx18cm and the paper size is approximately 18cmx25cm but they are all slightly different sizes. Your print will come with a descriptive note about the design and mini gift.
